The Grilosodes – in which the Slovenian uber-shredder travels the globe in search of perfect pow and a few laughs with friends.
Now in his 30s, Marko has been competing professionally for over a decade, and has amassed a bunch of stellar career results in that time. Highlights include winning the Billabong Air & Style competition in 2009, winning the O’Neil Evolution Slopestyle in 2010 and competing at the Winter X Games. Marko also claimed 3rd place at the European X Games and has stood on top of the podium at numerous FIS World Cups.
And there’s no sign of him slowing down; in early 2013 he once again grabbed gold at the Billabong Air & Style. Marko’s magnificent command of his abilities has been captured on film, in a number of ground-breaking snowboarding films including Red Bull Double Air, in which he propelled himself over pro snowmobiler Ross Mercer. Other must-see appearances include films such as Thanks in Advance, Draw the Line, The B, Catch the Vapors, and 91 Words for Snow.
